Quan Yuan, DDS, PhD, isProfessor and Chair of Department of Prosthodontics at West China School ofStomatology, Sichuan University, China. He gained his DDS from West China School of Stomatology and in 2008completed his doctorate. From 2009 to 2011, Dr. Yuan was a postdoctoral fellow at Department of Developmental Biology, Harvard School of DentalMedicine. He then joined West China School of Stomatology as associate professor of implant dentistry and assistant dean for education,before taking up his present positionin 2013. From 2013 to 2016,he was also a visiting assistant researcher at Schoolof Dentistry, University ofCalifornia, Los Angeles. Dr. Yuan has served as executive committee member of Dental Implant Section, Chinese Stomatological Association, and fellow of International Team of Implantology.He is an editorial board member of InternationalJournal of Oral Science and ScientificReports. He has been lead or co-authorof 80 articles in peer-reviewedjournals.
